I bought a medium sized GreenSafe just before Christmas and it's been brilliant! Really easy to put up and its handled all the snow and bad weather really well
Great idea, why no one thought of this product before is a mystery
My wife bought me a greenhouse for Christmas 2 years ago, I took one look at the instructions and that's as far as I got, it's been in the box ever since. I bought a GreenSafe and no word of a lie it was up in 10 minutes! It was unbelievably easy to put up and reassuringly sturdy. I've put the other Greenhouse on eBay, I hope someone buys it before they find out about the GreenSafe.
How do you stop it blowing away?
Each GreenSafe is surprisingly heavy; the M size which is the smallest weighs 27kgs. The weight of The GreenSafe when erected and filled with plants is normally sufficient to withstand usual weather conditions.
If The GreenSafe is placed in an exposed position in your garden it is advisable to secure it with tent pegs at the two attachments at each corner of The GreenSafe. The GreenSafe has also got built in attachments for the use of guide ropes over the main body to add extra stability and security.
How do you inflate the GreenSafe?
Each section of the GreenSafe has a detachable air valve. Make sure the o ring section of the air valves are securely screwed into the GreenSafe. Unscrew the outer connection of the air valve of the chamber you wish to inflate. Insert the nozzle of the electric air pump provided into the outer connection of the air valve. Turn the electric pump on and let it do the hard work for you.
What have been the changes made in the GreenSafe for 2010
It was improved in many aspect based on customers review and testing result. Improvement details can be found from this link (
PDF download).
How often does it need blowing up?
The GreenSafe shouldn’t need topping up more than every 4 or 5 days. If you are finding that you need to top it up more than this tighten each of the o ring connections on the valves. This will usually solve this problem.
Do you need to use a heater with the GreenSafe?
Only when the outside temperature dips below zero°C we advise using a heater, such as Bio Green Duo Tropic electric heater (2000 watt). It activates every 32 minutes for 3.5 minutes which keeps the electrical consumption down to about 0.8 KW/h in 24 hours. On our 16 week winter test we found that with an outside temperature of – 8°C with the Duo Tropic heater activated inside the GreenSafe the temperature did not get below 4.5°C.
